Earlier this week we wrote about Jeep's new Cherokee ad that ran during Saturday Night Live and starred
cast members from Saturday Night Live. Jeep called it a “cast commercial” and apparently it had some precedent. We did a little digging and found this 5-minute spot on the new Chevy's for 1965 featuring the stars of “Bonanza,” “Bewitched” and “Man from Uncle.”

The Renaultsport Megane 250
The latest offering from Renaultsport to hit UK shores is the Megane, which had it’s official reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and is now due to go on sale from the 1st November in the UK, with first customer cars arriving in January 2010. Renault are offering up two versions of the Renaultsport Megane – the hard-core 250 Cup version which will have you queueing at the osteopaths and the slightly softer, and better equipped, Megane 250. Just to complicate matters you can opt for the more back-friendly Megane 250 with its extra kit including auto lights and wipers, leather and electric seats and specify it with the Cup pack.
AC is due to show the AC Cobra MK VI at the Top Marques Show in Monaco
Despite being a UK car maker, AC is to build the new Cobra MK VI in Germany, at Gullwing GmbH, which gives a clue to the car’s unique feature – a removable hard top with gullwing doors. The AC Cobra has a long history, and is one of the most sought after replica cars on the market (which is hardly surprising considering the cost of an original Cobra), and is said to be single handedly responsible for the UK’s national 70mph speed limit, which was brought in after some extremely high-speed incidents on the new M1, where AC was testing its cars.
